Rodriguez proved she’s all about taking risks when she debuted her edgy shaved hairdo via Instagram on Wednesday evening. She captioned it with a simple, “Annihilation.#AnyaThorensen.”

We knew Rodriguez was up to something and was planning a dramatic change in her appearance after she posted a photo of herself with a short bob. “Short hair, don’t care,” she captioned the image, adding, “Ha. Not true. It’ll take some adjusting. I’ll just be a little crazy till the fairy dust settles!”

The reactions to her appearance have been pretty mixed. While comments include “love” and “goals,” others are less impressed, writing comments like “noooooooooooooooo” and “Oh my god wtf.”
But we doubt Rodriguez is concerned with the hate (because she loves her new look, and she’s confident about her appearance). But the massive change to her hair is actually due to an exciting new film role, although we’re not exactly sure what it is just yet.
