Reality TVwages are a far cry from the huge salaries of Hollywood celebs. We think of them as reality TV stars, but they’re really more like reality TV workers, because the paychecks don’t provide much more than a middle-class lifestyle. Perhaps that’s one reason why Radar Online is reporting thatTeen Mom‘s Amber Portwood is in a troubling amount of debt.

After failing to pay her taxes, she’s been hit with a federal lien for $134,919. Radar scoped out the Madison County recorder’s office in Portwood’s home state of Indiana, and she has yet to pay any of the money she owes. Portwood seems to have been doing some sponsored Instagram posts lately — perhaps those will bring in the extra money she needs.
The debt comes in conjunction with the release of troubling news about her fiancé, Matt Baier, who seems to have a child coming out of the woodwork every week. Baier is “up to nine children,” writes Design & Trend, and he seems to be late on child support for almost all of them.

Baier has allegedly missed five of his child support hearings, stolen money from a friend and is an all-around sketchball. As Radar puts it, Portwood has “stood by her man through his many scandals.” Once the two are married, his debt becomes Portwood’s debt and vice versa, so these two are either a fantastic match or a bank’s worst nightmare.
