TV networks went on a cancellation rampage this week, and John Stamos‘ hotness could not save his show from getting the ax.
Over a dozen prime-time series will be no more after this round of cancellations, including Stamos’ sitcom Grandfathered. He won’t exactly need to file for unemployment since he still has his gig producing Fuller House (with the occasional guest appearance), but judging from his social media posts, he is still pretty unhappy about the situation.

He also posted a photo on Instagram that took a more lighthearted attitude toward the news.

“Hey John Stamos! Fox just cancelled your television show, what are you going to do next….” he wrote, in a nod to the old-school post-Super Bowl Disney commercials.

Grandfathered wasn’t the only FOX show on the chopping block. The network also canceled The Grinder, Bordertown and Cooper Barrett, all of which were one-season wonders.
The cancellation of Castle is of little surprise considering that one of the stars, Stana Katic, announced she was leaving the show last month amid rumors of a huge feud with co-star Nathan Fillion, who at the time tweeted he hoped the show would go on without her.
