Khloé Kardashian didn’t hold back the insults when confronting Kris Jenner about Rob

Kris Jenner is a lot of things to her kids, some have even criticized her for not being a mother first, choosing instead to be a manager or a friend to them. But when Rob Kardashian started spiraling into his reclusive lifestyle, Jenner did everything she could to support him. In the most recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we learned that part of that support meant helping him put a down payment on a house.

Khloé Kardashian was not happy to hear this news.

While at lunch, Khloé called Jenner the biggest enabler and liar she had ever met. Mostly because that’s the only way the Kardashian group talks – in absolutes. But Khloé also felt like Jenner was allowing Rob to continue to skate through in life without doing any of the hard work that the sisters are used to.

As a side note, it was a little ironic coming from Khloé who allowed Rob to live in her house, without paying rent, for the past six years.

But the entire conversation sparked the question: Isn’t it time we gave Jenner a break?

Yes, she may be enabling Rob to live a life of leisure. Yes, she probably isn’t focusing on his mental health as much as she should. And yes, she probably throws money at some of the problems. But this is the first time her son has shown initiative or a desire to be outside of his room and interacting with people. She is allowed to do what she can to encourage his behavior.

Not to mention, she has five other kids. There’s only so much one woman can do!

Having a child battle depression is hard on any parent, but especially when the entire world is watching your child struggle and commenting on how bad he’s doing or how terrible he looks. Jenner finally got a glimpse of hope for her son, and she clung to it and did everything she could to help him get better. That’s not enabling him, that’s just being a good mother.
