In recent weeks there have been plenty of reports about Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East. However, Lambert herself is reluctant to talk about her relationship on social media — and we think this a great move.

Speaking during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, via People magazine, Lambert revealed why she chooses to keep the details of her relationship private, and it really boiled down to the fact that she wouldn’t want to know the ins and outs of other peoples’ lives.
“I really believe in leaving some mystery,” Lambert explains. “I don’t need to know what everybody’s doing all the time — especially with heroes of mine… I want to keep admiring them from afar.”

Lambert’s policy on social media is very different from that of many celebs, who share intimate details of their lives and opinions on various platforms. But this makes Lambert unique and, in a way, more genuine (because she’s not trying to portray a certain image in the media, and she’s more focused on the music than on her social media presence).
But another reason she may shy away from platforms like Twitter may be because she’s “horrible at all of it.”
“To think of something clever or make sure you spell something right… I always have 14 people read it because I’m worried about all of it,” Lambert told the publication. LOL.
