Ozzy Osbourne did something right: He split from his alleged girlfriend

Ozzy Osbourne has had an epiphany: If he wants to save his marriage to Sharon Osbourne, he should probably dump his girlfriend.

A source close to the rock royalty couple says Ozzy has come to his senses after a six-month-plus fling with his hairdresser Michelle Pugh, and realized that since Sharon manages pretty much every single part of both his personal and professional lives (except mistresses, apparently), he probably should try to get back into her good graces.

“His family really is very important to him and he’s come to his senses,” the insider told Page Six. “Sharon is Ozzy’s whole life; he can’t manage without her.”

But Pugh was not Sharon’s only problem with Ozzy: He reportedly also had flings with at least two other women in the last year, including a member of his tour staff and a woman he met at an AA meeting. However, another source said it was the fact that he had an emotional relationship with Pugh that was the last straw for Sharon.

“She’s looking the best she’s ever looked and she’s ruling the world right now — she doesn’t need this,” the insider said. “She’s devoted her whole life to this guy.

“All of this isn’t happening over Ozzy hooking up with some ‘random’ on a Friday night. He’s a rocker, and a ‘slip-up’ is a lot different [from] what they found here.”

It remains to be seen if Ozzy’s strategy will move Sharon in any way, as far as filing for divorce goes — that is, if the whole thing isn’t just a huge publicity stunt to drum up interest in the Black Sabbath tour.

“She’ll wait months,” said the source. “It’s a huge decision with a lot of moving parts, so she’s going to see how everything shakes out before deciding what she wants to do and what is best for their kids.”
