The lives of celebrities may look glamorous, but we bet they’re not all they’re cracked up to be. One of the obvious downsides in Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s case is the fact that they have to carefully guard their private lives, even from those who are meant to be protecting them — something that West and Kardashian know only too well.

West and Kardashian found themselves in a very unpleasant situation with their former bodyguard Steve Stanulis who, according to TMZ, claims that the reason he was fired from the job is because he chatted up Kardashian and made West jealous, a claim that the couple both deny, claiming that Stanulis’ job was only ever a temporary position.
As TMZ previously reported, Stanulis was hired by the man in charge of the family’s security ahead of the Met Gala on May 2. After the job, there were reports that “Ye [Kanye West] axed Stanulis for talking to Kim,” but we’re told Yeezy never had a confrontation with him, and in fact… everything “went very smoothly.”
Stanulis has reportedly been telling his story to anyone who will listen, and this has resulted in the power couple threatening legal action. The outlet reports that West and Kardashian’s lawyer has now sent a letter to Stanulis stating that unless he drops his charges, he will be facing a $10 million lawsuit.

Stanulis reportedly signed a confidentiality agreement before he started working for the couple, and the lawyer’s letter reportedly claims that there is a provision which says that if Stanulis opens his mouth, then he is automatically liable for $10 million. But the lawyer has offered him a way out of this messy legal business if he simply makes a public apology to the family.
And what do West and Kardashian think about Stanulis’ allegations? According to TMZ, they feel that it’s a “cheap, underhanded way to get famous.”
“This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tent of decency with his story of lies,” a representative for the couple told TMZ. “The Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense.”
