Even after a brief spat with MTV, Lauren Conrad might be back on TV soon

It’s been six long years, but the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Take a deep breath, sing some Hilary Duff, and get your Tiffany charm bracelet ready because Lauren Conrad is going to be back in front of the camera.

If the Instagram she posted is to be believed (and, frankly, it’s not very subtle) our girl LC will be filming a show with MTV that deals with her fashion line, Paper Crown. Not that I need to remind you, but MTV is the network that brought us The Hills and Laguna Beach and, essentially, Lauren Conrad. This can only mean good things.

As Us Weekly points out, Conrad filmed a pilot for MTV in 2011 focused on her rising career in fashion. The pilot didn’t get picked up, and Conrad wasn’t shy about slamming the network. She told Us Weekly at the time, “MTV felt the subject matter was too highbrow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships.” Perhaps MTV has changed their focus and is now willing to meet LC’s demands, aka showing her as the boss business-owner that she is?

We’ll all find out on Twitter on May 31 on the 10 year anniversary of the first episode of The Hills. It’s perfect, just like LC would want it.
