Khloé Kardashian is finally done giving Lamar Odom chances. She filed for divorce for a second time on Thursday, after the former NBA star was photographed drinking again earlier this month.
Kardashian is claiming irreconcilable differences, as she did the first time she filed for divorce. The divorce is reportedly amicable and the two are on good terms. Kardashian even gave Odom a heads-up before filing, according to TMZ.

Since Kardashian is cutting ties with Odom, she also reportedly wants to legally drop “Odom” from her last name.
Kardashian first filed for divorce back in December 2013, almost exactly two and a half years ago. However, when Odom overdosed at a Nevada brothel back in October 2015, just weeks before their divorce was to become final, Kardashian dismissed her divorce petition.

While many assumed Kardashian was attempting to mend her relationship with Odom, she says it was never about getting back together. She reportedly “just didn’t want to upset him while he was recovering,” according to TMZ.
However, it seems that when Kardashian saw photos of Odom out drinking again in March, she decided she had finally had enough. Back in April, Kardashian took to Instagram to share an emotional message, saying, “Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself.”
She concluded her post with, “A girl once told me… be careful when trying to fix a broken person. For you may cut yourself on their shattered pieces.”

During early May 2016, Odom was photographed drinking again. Kardashian simply tweeted, “Hummmmmm… People disappoint.”
After the leaked photos of Odom drinking and Kardashian’s emotional social media posts, news that the reality star is filing for divorce for a second time isn’t too surprising. We just hope both Kardashian and Odom stay healthy and happy.
