All over the world, people are mourning the horrific shooting that happened over the weekend at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Armed with a semi-automatic rifle and a handgun, a gunman killed at least 49 people and wounded more than 50 more, making Sunday’s massacre the most deadly mass shooting ever to occur on American soil. As hard as it is to put into words the feelings that come with seeing such an extreme act of senseless violence, celebrities have been doing it — dedicating concerts, vigils and TV monologues to the victims of the attack and putting beautifully into words the horror and sadness we’ve all felt this week.
Watch these 12 celebs pay touching tribute to the victims of the attacks.
1. Lin-Manuel Miranda
Miranda was one of many who used his time at Sunday’s Tony Awards to mourn the tragic events that happened in Florida. His acceptance speech for Best Original Score, written as a sonnet to his wife, reminded us all that “love is love is love.”

2. Adele
Adele began her three-night run in Antwerp, Belgium, by dedicating her show to the victims of the shooting. “The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soul mates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it,” she said as she fought back tears.
3. James Corden
Corden, who hosted this year’s Tony Awards, used his opening monologue to dedicate the entire show to those in Orlando affected by the shooting.
4. Tim Cook
Cook, Apple’s CEO, spoke at the Worldwide Developer’s Conference Monday, and began his speech with a touching tribute to the victims of the shooting. Cook, who came out as gay in 2014, highlighted diversity at Apple, saying, “The Apple community is made up of people from all around the world, from all different backgrounds and all different points of view. We celebrate our diversity. We know that it makes us stronger and moves everyone forward,” before calling for a moment of silence for the victims.
5. Stephen Colbert
Colbert opened his Monday night show by asking his viewers not to “accept the script” that follows events of mass violence in the U.S., and instead to demand change.
6. Frank Langella
Langella also used his Tonys acceptance speech to pay tribute to Orlando’s victims, asking Orlando to stay strong and the rest of the country to stand strong alongside the community.
7. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga joined a public vigil outside Los Angeles City Hall on Monday, where she delivered an emotional speech in support of the victims. “Tonight I will not allow my anger and outrage over this attack to overshadow our need to honor those who are grieving truly for their lost ones: lost members of the LGBT community,” she said.

Cooper struggled to hold back tears during his Monday night broadcast, as he personally named each victim of the attack, along with a few personal details. “They are more than a list of names,” he said. “They are people who loved and who were loved.”
9. Jimmy Fallon
Fallon was emotional while addressing the tragedy on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show, especially as it relates to his two young daughters. “I, as a new father, am thinking: What do I tell my kids? What do I tell them about this? What can we learn from this?” he said. “What if my kids are gay? What do I tell them?”
10. John Oliver
Oliver’s Sunday night show reminded viewers that love will overcome hate.

11. Conan O’Brien
O’Brien’s monologue paid tribute to the victims of the shooting, but also came down on gun control. “These are weapons of war, and they have no place in civilian life,” he said.

Bee’s angry rant on Full Frontal called for a closer examination of gun laws to prevent future shootings. It’s definitely one of the more extreme responses on this list, but worth seeing because it’s nearly impossible not to share Bee’s righteous anger.
