We’re coming to that time of the year when the best shows on TV will be done for the summer and let’s be honest, you’re going to binge-watch Orange Is the New Black in the first weekend. So pretty soon you’re going to be browsing Netflix for something to watch. But instead of mindlessly browsing for two hours, we thought we’d recommend some seriously funny women you can watch on YouTube to fulfill your summertime binge-watching needs.
1. IISuperwomanII
Superwoman, aka Lilly Singh, is just about to hit 9 million subscribers, so you know you’re going to get quality content if you subscribe to her channel. Singh uploads comedy sketches about the common things we all notice in our daily lives.
More than her hilarious observations of other people, though, it’s worth checking out Singh’s videos because she is always promoting positivity, love and acceptance of other people. Who doesn’t love that?
2. It’s Akilah, Obviously!
Akilah is smart comedy, but you’d probably expect that from a UCB-trained comedian. Her videos range from sketches to series to social commentary and are always rooted in intelligent humor and a little bit of learning. If you enjoy her videos, she’s also definitely worth a follow on Twitter and Snapchat.
3. Mamrie Hart
Mamrie Hart centers her entire channel on who deserves a drink for that week, so she’s obviously a girl after our own heart. Hart creates a signature cocktail that she’s made for the person who deserves a drink the most that week, teaches her viewers how to make it and entertains them with some hilarious puns.

4. Just Between Us
Comedy duo Allison Raskin and Gaby Dunn host a weekly advice show together playing off their very unique dynamic. Raskin is a straight girl who struggles with OCD and finding a husband. Dunn is a bisexual who doesn’t believe in really any rules that exist in society. You can guess how often they agree on their advice.
In addition to their advice videos, they post weekly skits that shed light on some of society’s biggest problems, but in a funny way.
5. Grace Helbig
If your only introduction to Grace Helbig was her short-lived show on E!, you’re completely missing out on how great she is. Helbig is one of YouTube’s long-running creators and has consistently made some fan-favorite videos for the last seven years.
Helbig is your girl if you enjoy dry humor, very little emotional sincerity and a place to go when you just don’t feel like you fit in with the “beauty gurus” of the internet. She’ll also make you feel better for having spent the day in sweatpants.

6. Shugs & Fats
Shugs & Fats is a YouTube comedy series based on about two hijabis who live in Brooklyn. They two constantly struggle to find a balance between their long-held cultural beliefs and a new life in “liberated” Brooklyn.
Currently there are three hilarious seasons to binge-watch, plus a bunch of comedy shorts that you can view on a quick break during work.
7. Miranda Sings
Miranda Sings may be the most confident woman in the world, so if nothing else, you should watch her for tips and tricks for thinking the world of yourself. Sings is a character, played by Colleen Ballinger Evans, who is an aspiring “actor, singer, dancer, magician” but if you ask her, she is the most famous person in the world.
It was announced earlier this year that Sings will have her own show on Netflix soon, so this is a good way to get an introduction to her before you see her show pop up in your Recently Added list.

8. GloZell Green
You may have seen GloZell Green on any of her many viral videos, but she’s much more than the crazy reactions. Green makes a point to make her channel a positive place that never takes itself too seriously. It’s worked out well for her, because some of her fans include Oprah and President Barack Obama.
9. Rose Ellen Dix
Rose Ellen Dix is a YouTube star from England who has a great comedy channel with her wife, Rosie. Like Just Between Us, the two couldn’t be more opposite in the way they approach life or their comedy, but their dynamic makes for some hilarious conversations on their couch or during a very badly played video game.
