Well, Game of Throneshas truly outdone itself. Episode 9, “Battle of the Bastards,” was pretty much a perfect piece of cinematic excellence. Of course, the long-anticipated Season 6 penultimate episode had Twitter buzzing with reactions from fans — celebrity and otherwise.
A lot of people were having some serious issues with the fact that the NBA Finals were airing simultaneously.

Let’s be real, the ladies have completely owned this season and fans are loving it.
After the tragic, unexpected death of Anton Yelchin, Anna Kendrick expressed her sadness but seemed to find a silver lining in the fact that this episode was so saturated with warrior women.
Today was grim. The ladies of #GameOfThrones really pulled it out tonight. And for that, I thank them.
