If you were worried about Demi Lovato’s indefinite hiatus from social media, have no fear. She’s back and ready to make even more noise. The singer announced on Monday that she was quitting Twitter and Instagram, but started tweeting on Tuesday with a very aggressive call to her haters.
The singer said, “F*** this.. I’m back bitches. And I’m coming back more honest than ever.”

Lovato didn’t make it clear why she left in the first place, but it’s clear that it had to do with negative comments. She wrote on Monday, “But why do people actually give a f*** what I say?? like if you don’t care the gtfo haha [sic].”

Then she added, “That one time I started my own charity providing mental health care for people who can’t afford it and this is what y’all talk about.”

Before I say what I’m going to say about Lovato’s return, I want to make it clear that I fully support her giving her honest opinion on whatever she’s passionate about. The more people who are involved in any discussion usually always means more education.

The problem I have with her “honesty” online is that it only applies to other celebrities. She has no problem telling people how nasty she thinks Mariah Carey is or how she disapproves of Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, but when it comes to her own life, she stays very tight lipped.
She hasn’t tweeted anything honest about her recent breakup with Wilmer Valderrama. She does spend a lot of time interacting with her Lovatics and doing uplifting things like her Makeup Free Monday tweets. But she also spends a lot of time shading other artists. If Lovato thinks that people aren’t going to call her out for it, then she probably should stay off social media.

I’m glad Lovato is back, especially if she’ll be more honest than ever. I just hope that she’ll be able to handle people being honest with her when she goes too far.
