Well, maybe not. Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift have stayed perfectly silent about their budding romance, despite the fact that there are already paparazzi photos of them making out and they’ve been hanging out all the time and it’s completely obvious that they’re a couple.

But Hiddleston supposedly called in to Belgium’s Qmusic radio show for an interview, where he allegedly had some things to say about his new girlfriend.

“I would describe it as a roller-coaster ride of action and spectacle and lots of laughs,” Hiddleston said on the show (maybe). “She is an absolute delight. She’s actually, um… She’s got such a wicked sense of humor and she’s a really fun person to have around. She’s really great.”

Not so fast. Almost immediately after the interview aired, fans took to Twitter to claim it was bogus. And they were right. E! News was able to confirm that the station had actually faked the interview by cobbling together clips from a bunch of old interviews in what they described as “a joke.” Don’t they know Hiddleswift is serious business?!

Regardless of Swift and Hiddleston’s insistence on staying mum about their relationship, their friends are blabbing all the details.

“Taylor was hesitant to get involved so quickly after [Calvin Harris],” one source said, “but she felt that [Harris] was not giving her what she wanted for some time, so she was ready to move on towards the tail end of their relationship anyway.”

Another insider revealed that when Swift and Hiddleston met at this year’s Met Gala, there was an “immediate attraction.” The source continued, “She felt like she was a little schoolgirl with a huge crush. She loves the fact that Tom acts like such a mature man. She loves that he is older. She feels very safe and protected with him. The attraction is very strong.”
