Bethenny Frankel can finally close a messy chapter of her life. TheReal Housewives of New York star’s estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, has finally moved out of her apartment.
The entrepreneur and reality star bought the apartment for $5 million in 2011, but it was later estimated to be worth $7 million. She reportedly bought the apartment under a trust and named herself and Hoppy as its beneficiaries, but during a court hearing in March 2016, a judge ruled that the trust was invalid.

During a court hearing in 2014, Frankel spoke out about living with Hoppy after their split, calling it “brutal,” “horrendous” and “excruciating.” While Hoppy stayed in the pair’s old apartment, Frankel ended up staying in hotels and getting a temporary apartment before finding a new place in SoHo.
Frankel finally returned to her old apartment a few days ago. She opened up about the emotional experience on her Sirius XM radio show, B Real with Bethenny, on Wednesday.

“I walked in and it just washed over me. I sobbed for hours. It was like this release. And you always think things are going to be one way. I thought it was going to be, like, the biggest party ever. I’d be roller-skating through there with my top off, my tits hanging out, so excited—and there’s nothing good about any of it. It was all just remembering moving in there,” Frankel revealed. “It was a hideous experience, and I just didn’t know how to even process the feeling.”

Frankel has had a lot to deal with lately, including a serious health scare and rumors that the other Real Housewives want her kicked off the show. Let’s hope that Hoppy finally moving out of her apartment means her divorce drama is almost over.
