Kim Zolciak-Biermann let everyone know that she is not here for their hate comments. After posting a bikini selfie to her Instagram celebrating the Fourth of July, comments started flooding in accusing Zolciak-Biermann of Photoshopping her images.

Zolciak-Biermann tried to spread Fourth of July cheer by sharing a photo in a cute red bikini with the caption, “Happy 4th of July! Excited to spend the day with my family! Out to the pool I go!”

Unfortunately, no one cared much about her celebrations; they only wanted her to admit that she had Photoshopped herself. Zolciak-Biermann is not the type to give up a fight, wrong or right. She wrote back to one commenter, “Don’t hate hunni no need to photo shop. Haters gonna hate always.”
When the questions kept coming, specifically about her waist, Zolciak-Biermann answered, “I had a hernia repair and a tummy tuck. You are clearly out of your mind! Go on my snap chat to ease your mind.”

It really doesn’t matter what Zolciak-Biermann looks like as long as she’s happy with herself — which, let’s admit, can be a hard thing to do in the world we live in. Plus, I admire that she’s always standing up for herself. Where other celebrities might ignore the hate, she makes sure that the people who spread negativity on her Instagram are put in check.
Who knows if her responses will lead to haters abandoning their constant need to hate on strangers on Instagram, but if just one person changes their attitude, then everything she’s doing is worth it. In an ideal situation, we can get to the point where posting a bikini selfie — especially of a mother of six — is celebrated as brave and positive. But since we’re nowhere near that, the best we can hope for is shutting down the hate, one comment at a time.

And for that reason alone, I hope Zolciak-Biermann never tires of shading all her haters!
