We love watching Blake Shelton on The Voice, and on Season 11 he may just have his most diverse team ever — thanks to his relationship with Gwen Stefani.

At least that’s what a source would have us believe, because according to Us Weekly a source has revealed that Shelton is using his relationship as “bait” in the blind auditions. Um, what?
“To get people on his team, Blake will say, ‘I don’t want to brag, but my girlfriend is the queen of ska,'” the source told the publication.

Shelton is probably just goofing around, as he loves to do. And, as the publication notes, he used to say something similar about his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert and her musical talents. Plus, we all know that Shelton likes to share his happiness, and over the course of his relationship with Stefani he has been more than happy to gush about how amazing she is (so no one can really be surprised if he’s mentioning her on The Voice).
Shelton is clearly in a good place with his life right now, and fans are glad to see how happy his relationship makes him.
“He talks about Gwen a lot,” the insider adds. “He’s always gushing about her and is so happy!”

We’re glad to hear it. We’re also sure this won’t be the last time we hear about Shelton and Stefani’s relationship, because really, could these two get any cuter?
