Ah, the perks of being a Bachelorette: Instead of waiting for a man to say “I love you,” guys are tripping all over themselves to say it to you on the fifth date. Cue Jordan Rodgers, a man that fans guessed would win JoJo Fletcher’s heart (and her final rose) from episode one. On this week’s episode of The Bachelorette, Fletcher and her harem are still in Argentina, which could explain one reason why the boys are starting to get a little romantic.

In her weekly blog for People, Fletcher dishes on her one-on-one date with Jordan Rodgers. Despite those pesky rumors that he’s only on the show for fame, he at the very least gives a good performance on this date. His big draw is his star connection to NFL player brother, Aaron Rodgers. But it also gives him an emotional advantage: He gets to talk about how difficult it was for him to grow up in a famous family, in the shadow of his brother.
“No matter what I did, it was never good enough for a coach or for a teammate because I was being compared to someone who did it the best,” he said. He has emotions! He’s a man who can feel! And he’s cute! I’m surprised Fletcher didn’t drop all her roses and marry him right there.

More importantly, last night was the night when Fletcher got her first “I love you.” In her blog for People, Fletcher reveals that she was thrilled: “Hearing him tell me he was in love with me for the first time was the perfect ending to what I would say was the best day we had shared together.”
