Nick Cannon and TLC’s Chilli dating rumors are swirling, and we’re digging it

Mariah Carey may be in the midst of wedding planning, but Nick Cannon is apparently moving on as well. Onlookers caught him and TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas having a loved-up evening after a show in Rochester. He must like his women musical!

According to the NY Daily News, Cannon watched TLC perform intensely, although he could have just been excited to see “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs” live. The more damning evidence: He “couldn’t keep his hands off her backstage,” the insider says. “They are definitely together!”

“It looked serious,” says the source. “They were hugged-up and kissing.”

Cannon responded to the rumors, saying, “I would be so lucky to be able to be called ‘dating’ her,” he told People. “This is all new to me. I’m not ready for titles and all that stuff. I’m damaged goods! Who would want to date me? Clearly I don’t get it.”

As recently as February, Cannon stated that he wasn’t interested in being a boyfriend. That better change if the two get serious. Chili’s dating record isn’t quite spotless. She was at the center of a media circus — and lots of sympathy — when ex-boyfriend Usher’s Confessions album revealed that he had cheated on her and was going to have a baby with another woman. Since that infamous reveal, she’s done plenty of dating on television. Chili has appeared on Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker (I saw her episode — none of the matches seemed right for her) and started her own show focused on her life and quest to find love, What Chili Wants.

Now only one questions remains: Does Chili want Nick Cannon?
