Sonja Morgan may still have feelings for LuAnn de Lesseps’ fiancé

There are times that Sonja Morgan seems like she genuinely doesn’t care about her friends with benefits, and then there are times she acts like she’s in love with them all. Unfortunately, she’s acting like she’s in love with Tom D’Agostino, LuAnn de Lesseps’ fiancé.

In tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of New York, the women threw an engagement dinner for de Lesseps hoping to celebrate her good news. Despite getting engaged rather quickly, all the women agreed that de Lesseps is better with a man than single. However, Morgan didn’t act like she thought de Lesseps was better with this particular man.

When de Lesseps was recalling the proposal story, Morgan couldn’t help but make catty remarks. She went as far as to roll her eyes when de Lesseps mentioned meeting D’Agostino’s family. It was pretty uncomfortable considering Morgan swears that the two were just friends with benefits.

It was hard to tell whether Morgan was upset that D’Agostino was off the market for good now, or that he hadn’t chosen her and she is still single. Either way, the news and the engagement dinner definitely didn’t bring out the best side in her.

Ramona Singer and Morgan both have been acting like de Lesseps stole D’Agostino from them. He obviously is a man who goes after what he wants. If he was going to propose to either one of them, he would have done it.

It’s time that these two figure out how to be happy, genuinely happy, for their friends. Even Carole Radziwill, who has every reason not to celebrate de Lesseps, brought her a gift and acted really excited that she was engaged and happy in her relationship.

It’s obviously different for Radziwill, who hasn’t slept with D’Agostino, but still Morgan and Singer are adults. They should have learned how to take the high road years ago.

De Lesseps is taking these tiny jabs well for now. But I can’t imagine that she’s going to be able to ignore them for very long. When the frustrating details of planning a wedding catch up with her, I’m sure she’s going to blow up at Morgan for being condescending and just rude. Hopefully Morgan gets her act together before then.
