The plot thickens: We now have solid evidence that the latest giant feud between Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is all a publicity stunt.

OK, not quite. But we do have another celebrity who is very close to one of the parties involved speculating that it could be. That counts, right?
Fergie, who is close pals with Kim Kardashian and even featured the reality star in her “M.I.L.F. $” music video, said during an interview with Kyle and Jackie O that she wouldn’t be surprised at all if this turned out to be an inside job.
“You’ve gotta respect her for sticking up for her husband,” Fergie told the hosts of the Australian radio show about Kardashian. “Knowing them, it’s probably a big master plan. They’ll probably all come together at the MTV Awards or something.”

There’s precedence for this theory. Remember how Kylie Jenner had been said for months to be feuding with Blac Chyna because of all the weird drama with Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, being Chyna’s baby daddy, etc., etc.? And then Jenner surprise-posted a photo on Snapchat of her and Chyna hanging out and claimed they had actually been BFFs the whole time? Is Kardashian trying to pull that off with Swift?
Well, there are a couple problems with this theory. For one, Swift didn’t need a publicity stunt. She’s already one of the most famous people on this planet, so pulling a trick on the public to get her name in headlines seems really unnecessary. But the real issue that points to this theory probably being false is that Swift looks really, really bad right now. Fans think she outright lied (and, to be fair, there’s no denying she at least stretched the truth). Why would Swift choose to participate in a publicity stunt that brings her nothing but bad publicity?
