Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were the last celeb couple anyone ever expected to split, so in June, when they announced that they would be breaking up after nearly six years of dating, it’s safe to say a lot of fans were left shocked.

But are they really over for good? Maybe not.
Lovato has been traveling across the country for her new tour, Future Now, and her busy work schedule has left her with no time for relationships. But according to a Hollywood Life source, when her tour wraps up in September there is a very good chance that she and Valderrama will get back together.

“She has a lot of focus on her music and her tour and she would like to get back to being all lovey-dovey relationship afterwards,” the source told the publication. “It’s good for her now not to be super crazy serious with Wilmer and he understands that and they are playing it cool for each other.”
When Lovato previously released a statement on social media to let everyone know that she and Valderrama were going their separate ways, she ensured everyone that they would remain “best friends” and were parting on good terms, but if this latest report is correct, then there’s way more to this relationship than just friendship — and we kinda hope that’s true.
