Brooks Ayers’ ‘cancer’ wasn’t Vicki Gunvalson’s fault, so stop already

Can everyone just lay off Vicki Gunvalson already?

We all get it. Brooks Ayers faked having cancer, which is a super-lowlife thing to do. And then Gunvalson broke up with him and tried to carry on with her life. Only her co-stars still aren’t letting that happen without a fight.

On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gunvalson had a huge, profanity-laced blow up with Shannon Beador’s husband, David Beador, who called her out, still saying she needs to apologize for Ayers’ behavior.

Vicki, fuck you,” Beador said. “You need to shut your fucking mouth. You shut your mouth. You lied about cancer. You still haven’t fucking fessed up. You need to shut your fucking mouth. You understand me? You need to shut your fucking mouth. You fucking [sic], as soon as you admit to lying, then you’re scot-free.”

Meanwhile, Gunvalson, through all of the insanity she’s faced since it was revealed that Ayers faked his cancer diagnosis, has never wavered from saying she didn’t know the truth and she wasn’t in on the scam. When she left the party, she called him, demanding that he help her set the record straight, but the call went to voicemail.
“Brooks it’s Vicki,” she said in the message she left for him. “David Beador says I’m a pig and I lied about you, that you didn’t have cancer. You need to call David Beador because this is filthy and disgusting that I have to deal with this. Like, I didn’t do anything. I believed you and I loved you and that was that. So now here we are, nine months later, I still got to deal with this so call me back.”
No word yet on whether Ayers called her back, but he did respond to some comments on Instagram, telling his fans he just wants to leave the whole mess in the past.
“I wish her nothing but the best but our time has gone. I’m very happy with my life and have moved on,” Ayers wrote. “We both have moved on. I haven’t seen her in a year. It’s time for everyone else to move on too!????”
