It looks like those divorce rumors about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were way off. According to InTouch the couple isn’t separating their family, but growing it instead. The couple is apparently looking to adopt a seventh child from an African country and they want to make sure it isn’t a baby.
A friend who talked to InTouch said, “They’re celebrating saving their marriage with the best present possible: a seventh child. Now that the divorce is off and they’re back on track, they feel adopting another child will strengthen their relationship even more.”

The friend explained that it wasn’t just to build a stronger bond within their family, though. There is a bigger message in the works with this new adoption.
The friend said, “Brad and Angie also believe that adopting an older child will make people aware of orphans who are often overlooked. According to Angie, everybody seems to want to adopt babies when there are so many other wonderful, worthy and deserving older children out there.”
Would it really be a Jolie idea if there wasn’t a message and a purpose behind it?

It’s brave and totally inspiring that the couple continues to push the messages they care about and expose more people to them. Whether it’s environmental issues, adoption or housing in New Orleans, Pitt and Jolie both use their platform and their fame to bring attention to causes that matter to them and those they think should matter to the world.
I mean, do you remember that article Pitt wrote about being a better husband to Jolie? They don’t stop being incredible.
If the rumors are true and they do adopt an older child, it could make a huge impact on the children currently living in foster care. And even if they don’t adopt a child, the fact that they’ve been able to change the conversation surrounding them from divorce to adoption of older children is incredible in itself.
They really are the best power couple.
