There’s a lot of drama surrounding Taylor Swift at the moment — her once perfect image has been shattered by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — but if you thought the controversy surrounding her had deterred Tom Hiddleston, well, then you couldn’t be more wrong.

We’re very happy to report that Swift and Hiddleston’s romance is still going strong, proven by their super-romantic date in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday night.
The lovebirds were spotted enjoying an intimate dinner at the Hillstone restaurant, and they couldn’t get enough of each other. “They were tucked away in the second floor of the restaurant,” a source told People magazine. “They seemed to really be enjoying each others’ company.”

A second source revealed that the couple kept it chill, with Swift reportedly wearing a black top-and-skirt combo. And Hiddleston reportedly drove them to the restaurant, where “they held hands and looked very happy.”
Swift and Hiddleston went public with their romance in June (and initially caused some speculation as to whether it was all a publicity stunt for one of Swift’s new videos). But if there are still any doubters that this romance is the real deal, we hope the recent dates the couple has been on (including trips to Australia, Italy, England and Nashville) will help quash the suggestion that this relationship is fake, because really, we are now 100 percent on board with Hiddleswift.
