Um, Britney Spears and Justin Bieber are not dating. Nor will they ever date.

But believe it or not, there’s a source actually saying that Spears has her eye on Bieber. Come on, people. Let’s use some common sense.
According to OK! magazine, this mystery source says Spears is bugging her manager to get her together with the Biebs. “She’s encouraged by the fact that he’s hooked up with Kourtney Kardashian even though she’s older,” the insider said. “She thinks they could date!”
Uh-huh. We’re sure that 34-year-old Britney Spears, with her adorable kids and Las Vegas residency, is just dying to hang out with 22-year-old Bieber, with his bad haircuts and traffic violations. They must have so much to talk about.

But OK!‘s source isn’t letting it go.
“Britney couldn’t care less about the age difference,” the insider reportedly claimed. “Britney’s been into Justin ever since his Purpose album came out last year. She really wants to get closer with him.”
We’re still saying no.
Bieber may be into it — after all, the rumors are persistent that he hooked up with Kourtney Kardashian a few times ever since she attended his secret show in December at The Nice Guy. But we just can’t see Spears wanting to be with Bieber. It’s nothing against him, but she’s older with kids and a successful, established life and career. He’s still partying and dating around. They’re at completely different points in lives.
Still, there is one way we would love to see them get together: a musical collaboration. And maybe that’s what this Spears insider was actually talking about — “Ideally, [Spears] would want Justin to guest star in her Las Vegas Show.”
Now there’s a rumor we can get behind.
