Taylor Swift was spotted living her best life at BFF Karlie Kloss’ joint birthday party with friend Mike Hess in East Hampton, New York, this weekend. The “Shake It Off” singer got her groove on with Nelly and even planted a smooch on the cheek of a guy who wasn’t Tom Hiddleston.
Swift took the stage for a spontaneous performance with Nelly at the birthday bash. She was reportedly reluctant to join the rapper for his hit “Dilemma” at first, but she ended up working the crowd and showing off some sultry moves.

“I know you got this,” Nelly says, encouraging Swift to sing with him in the video below.

Swift collaborating with Nelly shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. The rapper has performed as a special guest at several of Swift’s concerts in the past, including one in St. Louis on The 1989 World Tour.

During her impromptu performance at the party, Swift planted a kiss on the cheek of a man reported to be birthday boy Hess. A video of the moment of the moment was caught on a partygoer’s Snapchat.
So, who is Hess? According to a source for Us Weekly, “Mike is friends with everyone. He is best friends with Josh Kushner, who dates Karlie. His parents own the Hess Corporation.”

Cheek kisses aside, it seems like Swift and Hess are definitely just friends, and the two have actually known each other for a while. They were photographed with Kloss and Heidi Klum at a New York Knicks game back in 2014.
