Is Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna‘s reality show doomed before it even airs?

Us Weekly is reporting that Kardashian hasn’t been showing up for filming and that the show is causing serious issues in the pair’s relationship. It should come as no surprise, considering Kardashian left his family’s reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians three years ago, claiming he wanted to live a life outside of the spotlight. So that begs the question: Was it Chyna who pushed him into signing onto their reality show, and will their relationship be able to survive it?
A source dished to Us Weekly that Kardashian “has skipped and not shown up for” a number of shoots for Rob & Chyna, a six-part docuseries set to air on E! and document the couple’s engagement and Chyna’s pregnancy. After the docuseries, a special episode is set to cover their wedding.

“He’s struggling to readjust to the grueling work schedule,” the source added of Kardashian. “It was like a honeymoon every day with Chyna before filming started. But working with your pregnant partner and living together has been stressful. Rob just shuts down.”
While Kardashian hasn’t been showing up to film, the source said Chyna, who is five months pregnant with their daughter, has just been filming without him. The source also said she’s been wondering if Kardashian regrets signing onto the show.
It’s been clear that there have been hiccups in their relationship. In July, Kardashian deleted all traces of Chyna from his Instagram and unfollowed her, sparking breakup rumors. Film crews have been capturing the strife, which viewers will be able to see.
“You will see a lot of stress and fighting on the show,” the insider said. “This show is capturing their real lives. There are great highs and low lows. It goes back and forth.”
