In an unexpected turn of events, people think Jules Wainstein’s divorce is fake

No one wants to experience heartbreak, but doing so publicly must be even more difficult, which is why we’re really struggling to get behind the thought that The Real Housewives of New York newcomer, Jules Wainstein, could be faking her divorce.

Anyone who’s a fan of the show will know that Jules and her husband Michael Wainstein are reportedly getting a divorce (after eight years of marriage), and it’s been taking a huge emotional toll on her. It’s also something that Jules clearly isn’t ready to go into detail about — as proven by her appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, where she opted to answer his questions about her impending divorce very briefly.

But is Jules not giving specific details about the breakup because she’s heartbroken or because it’s not as ‘real’ as The Real Housewives franchise wants us to believe?

According to Perez Hilton, they’ve been hearing some rumors that the Wainstein’s divorce is not quite as dramatic as we may have been led to believe. Radar Online claims that a production source told them Bravo filmed scenes “in the last few weeks that weren’t part of the original season shot” — supposedly so that they would have more footage of Jules Wainstein’s relationship with her husband.

And this isn’t the only explosive claim about the divorce because the source also told Radar Online that, “Jules and Michael’s divorce was finally interesting so the producers manipulated the scenes to fit into the narrative that he was the scoundrel in the relationship.”

The publication notes that Jules was earning much less than her co-stars and in an attempt to stay relevant she used her divorce storyline, with the source claiming that she was “hoping her divorce will give her a bigger storyline and keep her on the show for another season. Bravo seems to really like all of the drama. Her storyline exploded.”
