The Daily Mail reports that police were called to The Real Housewives of New York star’s apartment on Wednesday following an “angry argument” with her estranged husband, Michael Wainstein. The site says Michael was gone by the time police arrived, and no arrests were made.
“Officers received a call at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday morning of a disturbance,” the NYPD said in a statement. “When officers showed up they spoke to both parties and advised for each, if they felt threatened by the other, to file a restraining order.” Exact details of the “disturbance” that led to the call to law enforcement haven’t been released.
Both Jules and Michael have accused the other of physical abuse during their divorce proceedings.

Later that day, E! News reports, Jules appeared in family court and was granted a temporary restraining order against Michael.
“She is a great mom who is just focused on her kids right now,” a source close to Jules told the site, adding that as the divorce gets messier, Jules is “trying to take the high road.”
Michael and Jules were married for eight years before she discovered he was having an affair and he filed for divorce. As documented on RHONY, they met when Jules was only 24 years old outside a French bistro in New York City. The drama surrounding their split unfolded for viewers to see on RHONY, as Michael denied the cheating accusations, but continued to be seen publicly with his alleged mistress. Jules is requesting spousal support from Michael in her divorce proceedings. The couple has two children together.
