Taylor Swift has been laying low these past few weeks since her very public feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, but on Thursday she finally decided to break her social media silence with a tweet.
More:Kanye West is still not over his feud with Taylor Swift
A tweet that had absolutely nothing to do with Kimye, but rather celebrates some of the most determined and talented athletes that the USA has to offer — a pretty awesome reason to come back to Twitter, right?
Swift tweeted about the women’s gymnastics team — which includes Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian — and their Olympic success in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they took home the gold medal in the team final competition on Tuesday. She wrote, “Sending my biggest congratulations to Simone, Aly, Laurie, Gabby and Madison! YOU DID IT GIRLS!! #FinalFive.”

Biles was thrilled with the message and retweeted it, while her Olympic gymnastics coach, Aimee Boorman, also thanked Swift for her support and posted an awesome picture along with her response.
While the athletes are pleased with the show of support from Swift, there are still a lot of people who are harping on about Swift being “exposed” as a liar by Kardashian.
