Only about a month after their split, Taylor Kinney is already hinting at a reunion with Lady Gaga, giving us all hope that there is actually love in this cold, dead world.
“Taylor really hopes they’ll get back together,” a source close to the actor told the Daily Mail. Even though Gaga moved her things out of Kinney’s Chicago apartment when they ended their engagement last month, she did keep the 15-carat engagement ring he gave her on Valentine’s Day last year, and sources say that’s why he’s still confident that they’ll end up back together. “There is absolutely still a chance they can get back together. [Gaga] still feels terrible and hopes it can work out,” another source told Us Weekly.

Gaga herself gave fans of the relationship plenty of hope the first time she publicly addressed her split with Kinney. She posted a photo of the two of them walking hand in hand along with a touching caption about the bumps in the road they’ve faced during their time together.
“Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates,” she wrote. “Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.”
She continued, “Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else, and we really love each other.”
