Paul finally made the first great Big Brother move of the season

Tonight’s episode proved why we all love and watch Big Brother. Paul Abrahamian finally decided to make some big moves and play the game. Just when I thought this season was over, we might actually get to see Paulie Calafiore go home — all because of a man with a glitter beard.

More: Paul might be the greatest mastermind on Big Brother 18

This week, Victor Arroyo won Head of Household and immediately started scheming with Abrahamian about how to shake up the house. Basically, Abrahamian and Arroyo were finally fed up with the way that Calafiore continued to stab everyone in the back. Once Arroyo had the power to put him up for eviction, James Huling and Natalie Negrotti quickly signed up for Operation Get Calafiore Out.

As a fan of the show, and a fan of Calafiore going home, this new alliance made me excited again. Everything up until this point in the show had been pretty predictable. But now there’s definitely going to be a change. With Arroyo nominating both Calafiore and Corey Brooks up for eviction, there’s no way Calafiore can have total power over the house. It’s basically a free-for-all again.

Plus, there’s a chance that Calafiore is going home — a fact that brought him to literal tears because he knew that either he or his “boy since day one,” Brooks, would be sent home. He was crying over that fact. Calafiore said in his confession that he might even lose the veto power just so he wouldn’t have to be the reason Brooks went home.

He didn’t cry when his showmance partner Zakiyah Everette went home, but he is sobbing at the potential of Brooks going home. Calafiore is nothing if not the most confusing person to ever be in the Big Brother house.

I never thought that I’d be so happy for Abrahamian, the friendship bonds he’s been talking about since the beginning of the season, or his glitter beard, but he is the reason Calafiore cried and may be evicted this week. So, for that, he gets the MVP award.
