Over the past year, Rosie O’Donnell’s relationship with her daughter Chelsea has undergone some major changes — and now the two women could not be happier.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, O’Donnell posted a sweet selfie of herself and her formerly estranged daughter. She captioned the post with a beautiful message about their relationship, writing, “chelsea and me — what a difference a year makes #hopelives.”

O’Donnell and Chelsea had a volatile relationship that resulted in a public feud. You may also remember that last year Chelsea went missing — O’Donnell tweeted last August that she needed help in finding her daughter — only to be later found shacking up with her older boyfriend. So fans are clearly thrilled to see that O’Donnell has been able to reconnect with Chelsea, and the comments are filled with messages of love and support.

“Wow! She looks so healthy! Keep up the good work both of you!” mandymomof3 gushed.
