Was that last episode of KUWTK entirely about emojis or did we imagine that?

Keeping Up With the Kardashians is a good way to get perspective in your life. If you’re worried that you’re posting too often to Snapchat, you can watch an episode of the Kardashians and realize you’re not posting that frequently. Or, like tonight, you can watch them fight about an emoji character and realize things are pretty great in your family.

In tonight’s episode, we see Blac Chyna release her line of emojis, which included one that looked a lot like Kylie Jenner. Obviously, there’s a lot of weird tension and drama that is just below the surface between Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna, so the fact that Blac Chyna made an emoji that resembled Kylie Jenner was something the Kardashian sisters didn’t take kindly to.

To her credit, Kylie said that she didn’t think the character really looked anything like her, and figured it wasn’t supposed to be disrespectful in any way.

Kim and Kourtney didn’t really agree, and felt it was necessary to call Rob out on his fiancé’s behavior. As you can imagine, the drama escalated very quickly.

The thing is, I’m sure what they’re really arguing about is the surprise engagement. And the fact that Jenner has been dating Tyga for years now, and it’s weird that of all the women in L.A. Rob decided to be with Blac Chyna. I’m sure that what they were really fighting about was the history they all have with each other as siblings.

But to the viewers, what we see them arguing about is emoji characters. And isn’t that just the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever heard?

If only all family drama could be over something so insignificant and petty. There would be a lot less stress and anger in the world, that’s for sure.

I’m not saying that one problem is more important than another. Each family has its own set of issues. But in the grand scheme of things, when you’ve got an episode where Khloé is fearing for Lamar Odom’s life and recovery, played beside the storyline of emoji drama, you really have to wonder which one should have been cut from the show.

It was weird, even for a KUWTK episode.
