Farrah Abraham is no stranger to social media controversy, especially when it comes to her daughter Sophia. The Teen Mom star has been dealing with online critics of her parenting skills for years.
Abraham’s even come under fire for sharing photos of Sophia in a swimsuit before. So, if she wanted to get people talking about the new season of Teen Mom OG, she definitely did it with this picture of her 7-year-old daughter.

Abraham posted a photo of Sophia posing in a leopard-print bikini with one hand on her hip and the other behind her head and, of course, Instagram trolls lost it.

Some Instagram users criticized Abraham for using a photo of her daughter in a bikini to promote the new season of Teen Mom OG and said the pose was too provocative for a 7-year-old.
“I know she’s a kid and doesn’t know any better but I’m sorry I’d never allow my child to pose like this or dress the way Farrah dresses this poor kid,” wrote @gamer_1989.
“Why would she post this picture? Seriously sick in the head,” said @_.uly._.
“Ugh this is literally kiddie porn for pedophiles. I have a 9-year-old daughter I would never ask her to pose like this. It’s horrible you should be ashamed,” wrote @jdb1118.

However, some fans left encouraging comments, standing up for Abraham and saying she did nothing wrong in posting the pic.
“Cutie pie Sophia,” commented @glits_69.
“Just cause you watched her on MTV these years don’t mean any of you know what it’s like to be her or what SHE feels I don’t see anything wrong with this picture? Grow up people even people like Farrah have feelings,” wrote @rmyrachel92.
“Who cares really? How many moms actually put their daughters in bikinis now? It’s really almost all you can buy. You’re all just hating on Farrah because of the so-called sex tape, when she did whatever she had to do to support her daughter for the future,” said @beautifulminxx.

Unfazed by the hate, Abraham posted another photo of Sophia this weekend, wishing her good luck on her first day of second grade. It appears Sophia heads back to school the same day the new Teen Mom OG season premieres, August 22.
