There’s been a lot of back-and-forth speculation lately that RiRi has been seen kicking it with both Drake and Leonardo DiCaprio. In the past few months, though, it seemed like she was definitely coupled up with Drake, even though she’s so private she wasn’t outright admitting it.
Enter the VMAs. After Sunday’s awards show, there’s some serious doubt about whether Rihanna and Drake are actually an item like so many of us assumed.

As Drake presented Rihanna with the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, he gave a touching speech that sounded like major relationship goals, saying he and RiRi are “best” buds and he’s been in love with her since he was 22. But then, he went in for the kiss. And she gave him the cheek. Hard.
Needless to say, Twitter is having a field day with the awkward moment, turning it into a hilarious meme.
But while watching the aftermath of this hilarious interaction play out is entertaining, we still need to know if these two are actually dating. RiRi, get back to us.
