Seriously, what gives?
For the past month or so, the gossip mill has been turning out story after story about Meghan Edmonds and Jim Edmonds’ marriage, claiming the couple are secretly divorcing — despite the fact that Meghan is pregnant with their first child together. Some tabloids say it’s because Meghan is jealous of Jim’s ex-wife; some say it’s because of Jim’s lack of emotion toward Meghan’s painful in vitro fertilization process. But what all of the stories have in common is the fact that they’re just plain horrible for making Meghan fend off such unpleasant rumors during a time that should be filled with rainbows and butterflies.
And fending off the unpleasant rumors she is. Meghan proved this weekend that she isn’t about to take all the gossip lying down.

“Our marriage is in jeopardy can’t you tell? #dontbelieveeverythingyouread #carryontabloids #canttouchthis #6monthspregnant,” she captioned a smiling pic of herself and Jim as they enjoyed a picturesque boat ride.
Judging by Meghan’s Instagram, she and Jim have been having a blast all summer gallivanting all over the gorgeous Idaho countryside and having fun while staying active.
Divorce rumors aren’t the only hate Meghan has had to deal with during her pregnancy journey. In an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County that aired in August, we got to witness Vicki Gunvalson make derogatory remarks about Meghan’s IVF process.

It’s so sad that during what should be an exciting — and peacefully happy — nesting period, Meghan is having to deal with the craziness of petty rumors and comments about her personal life.
But I guess that’s what you sign on for when you join a Real Housewives franchise, right?
