Katie Holmes has been remarkably silent about her now nearly 5-year-old divorce from Tom Cruise, despite the rumors that have constantly surrounded them about how his dedication to Scientology may have caused the divorce, and before the split, caused her to put up with some seriously weird stuff. Now, a new rumor may change everything.
Radar Online is reporting that Holmes signed a contract at the time of the divorce, and that it stipulated she had to stay mum about the details of the split for the first five years. Math time: If the rumor is true, that would mean Holmes can start talking in 2017, which is just a few months away.

The report says a lot of topics are off the table for public discussion by Holmes for the duration of the contract, including her dating life, Scientology and Cruise himself.
“Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” a source told Radar about the alleged document. “She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri.”
The insider continued, “Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms — and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”
That means that all the details about Holmes’ rumored relationship with Jamie Foxx could become public, and so could the details of the celeb divorce that shocked us all almost five years ago.
