Andi Dorfman probably wishes Nick Viall would just shut up about having sex

Nick Viall is all set to become the next The Bachelor, but you’d think he would have learned from his past mistakes with exes Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe and not be so eager to admit, once again, that he had sex with them during their Fantasy Suites dates.

“I don’t think sex is a taboo thing,” Viall told People magazine during a recent interview. “I’m an open book, so I don’t mind the fact that it’s out there. People are well aware of the fact that Andi and I slept together, as well Kaitlyn and I, but I slept with two women that at the time I felt deeply for and thought there was a good chance I could end up with.”

We can completely understand where Viall is coming from, and the fact that he is so open about sex isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but the fact that he chose to bring Dorfman’s and Bristowe’s names into his recent comments is — especially because he already knows how much it angered Dorfman during the After the Final Rose show in 2014.

However, Viall did express regret about telling the world of his sexual encounter with Dorfman, saying, “I regret that in the sense that it unnecessarily and unfairly caused Andi to get a lot of flack [sic]. I wasn’t trying to accomplish that. Women have as much right as men to do whatever they want behind closed doors.” Still, is it really even appropriate to remind everyone about it?

We’ll say one thing: Viall is an interesting character, one that we’re actually really looking forward to seeing on The Bachelor (because it’s about time he got a shot at love with someone who reciprocates his feelings of affection), and it should be interesting to see how he acts during his own Fantasy Suite dates.

But for now, he hasn’t really thought much about it.

“I haven’t really thought specifically about it,” Viall admits. “But I’m not going to be afraid to have some honest and candid conversations with the women.”
