Why can’t celeb exes just get along?
According to recent reports, there’s a potentially nasty custody battle brewing between Game of Thrones star Lena Headey and her ex-husband, Peter Loughran.

TMZbroke the news of the dispute, revealing that when Headey moved from L.A. to England this summer, she violated their custody agreement, which allows them to share custody of their 5-year-old son. But Headey is firing back, saying they actually discussed the move and agreed that they both would move to England and continue to share custody there, and when Loughran ended up staying in the U.S., it was actually he who broke their custody agreement. What a mess. You’d think, just for the sake of the kid, they could avoid disagreements as massive as this one.
Headey’s lawyer spoke to TMZ about the situation, saying, “Ms. Headey has not taken the parties’ child against any custody arrangement.” Meanwhile, Loughran says he never agreed to move anywhere, let alone to a new country.

Headey and Loughran married in 2007 and finalized their divorce in 2013. In the aftermath of the split, Headey opened up about the grief and depression she experienced.
“It’s tough,” she told More magazine. “There’s a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It’s a mourning process, and yet nobody’s died.”
And about her longtime battle with depression, Headey said, “I haven’t had a spell in a long time. I think some people’s brains are just wired that way if you’re a thinker. People who never get anxious always amaze me. The world could be breaking up, and they’re saying, ‘Everything’s fine!’ Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all.”
Sources close to Headey say she decided to move to the U.K. to be closer to her family support system.
