Looks like fans of The Real Housewives of Orange CountyTwitter feuds are going to have to find some new drama queens to follow, because rumor has it Bravo just put the social media smackdown on the entire cast.
Some news outlets are reporting the RHOC ladies have been banned from Twitter by show execs, and according to Radar Online, the network wrote a scathing letter to everyone on the show about their mean tweets. The supposed ban is because of recent nasty exchanges that have gone down on the site — and it’s all reportedly because Shannon Beador got her feelings hurt.
“The letter was sent a direct result of Shannon complaining to the network about what was happening on social media,” an inside source told Radar.

The insider may have named Beador as the reason for the reprimand, but the excerpts released by Radar of the letter allegedly written by Bravo execs make no mention of any cast member directly. It also doesn’t mention a ban, per se, but it does strongly warn them to keep their exchanges clean.
“The social media viciousness has gone too far and you need to cool it. Specifically we’re asking you to stop attacking each other. The network is upset and so are we in production,” the letter reportedly reads.
“The constant, ugly fighting is a bad look for you, and bad for the show,” it continues. “You may not like each other, may not trust each other and often wish you weren’t on the show together — but taking shots at each other on social media isn’t the answer. Save it for the show… for the reunion… and please stop fighting so dirty.”

The subtle mention for the ladies to save the aggression for the show kinda makes it seem like Bravo just wants their stars to save all the good stuff for cameras, but the parts that beg Beador, Kelly Dodd, Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson and Heather Dubrow to be civil seem genuine.
“We’re asking you to stop any negative mentions about the other cast members on social media. Talk about your lives, your kids, your grandchildren, your jobs, products… or whatever… but please stop aggressively hitting each other below the belt,” the letter says.

The rant from Bravo comes hot on the heels of a fresh Twitter war between Beador and Dodd, which ex-cast members Lizzie Rovsek and Gretchen Rossi were more than willing to jump in on, as well.
Yeesh. A RHOC Twitter moratorium might be well warranted.
