We’re used to hearing Adele sing about heartbreak, but if she’s basing new material on her current romantic situation, things are going to be a lot more upbeat from now on.

The singer’s boyfriend and father of her 3-year-old son Angelo, Simon Konecki made a huge gesture to celebrate the couple’s fifth anniversary at her Nashville, Tennessee, concert this week.
At the end of Adele’s shows, thousands of pieces of confetti fall from the ceiling, each one with a song lyric written on it. But at this gig, the usual white confetti was replaced with special pink love notes from Konecki, inscribed with messages like, “You are an angel,” “Happy anniversary” and “I love you.”

Adele recently revealed that her family might soon be expanding. “My son is about to turn 4 very, very soon,” she told fans at Saturday’s Nashville gig. “I’m starting to get very emotional about it because I feel like once they turn 4, they’re not really your actual baby anymore. So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby.’ I’m not pregnant. I won’t get pregnant until the end of the tour.”
That means we could be expecting a happy announcement shortly after Adele finishes her 107-date world tour in November.
