Tyga made a court appearance in a dispute over a $200,000 diamond watch and chain that he allegedly bought and never paid for, and reports say it didn’t go particularly well.
Celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills won a judgment against Tyga for payment for the watch and chain, and Tyga’s now required to sit for a series of hearings in which it will be determined how, exactly, he’s going to pay for them. The Daily Mail reports that his first appearance was going OK — Tyga calmly answered an attorney’s questions about his properties and finances in the beginning.
Then, when questioned about the lavish gifts he’s given to his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, reports say Tyga said he felt sick and that he had lost his memory.

Among some huge, flashy diamond rings, Tyga also gave Jenner a $200,000 Mercedes for her 18th birthday. That was after it was reported that he gave her a Ferrari for her 17th birthday, though it was later revealed that he couldn’t actually afford the car and he had actually only leased it in Jenner’s name.
Daily Mail also reports that Tyga’s own Mercedes G-Wagon, a 2013 model worth around $233,000, is set to be repossessed because he hasn’t made payments in four months. Other reports say Tyga’s money problems are so bad, he’s living with Jenner after a series of pricey evictions left him unable to find his own place.
Tyga’s hearing — and more discussion about the money he drops on Jenner — has been rescheduled for Nov. 1. Jenner has also been ordered to appear in court that day to make her own statements.
