Khloé Kardashian is close to finally closing the Lamar Odom chapter of her life once and for all. The two have reached a settlement and signed off on their divorce, according to TMZ.

The pair reached a property settlement and signed legal documents that were filed on Friday, Oct. 21. However, the divorce likely won’t be official until December, as California state law mandates that a judge cannot sign off on a divorce until at least six months after the initial filing. Kardashian filed in May.
A source also confirmed the news to Us Weekly, saying, “They’re relieved it’s over and ready to move on with their lives.”

It’s been a long road toward divorce for Kardashian and Odom. Kardashian first filed for divorce back in December 2013 after four years of marriage to the former NBA star.
After Odom overdosed and nearly died last year, Kardashian dropped the divorce and attempted to help him work toward sobriety. However, she refiled for divorce this year when Odom could not keep away from a life of using drugs and drinking.
Odom is reportedly now “the best he has been in many months” after a summer filled with heavy drinking and partying, according to a source for Us Weekly. People magazine also reported last week that Odom is doing well, saying, “A lot of what happened last year is a blur for Lamar but he knows he almost didn’t make it. There are so many people still rooting for Lamar — he’s a good guy.”

Despite word that Odom is finally doing better, Kardashian and Odom are reportedly still not in communication, and it doesn’t sound like they will be anytime soon.
“Khloé and Lamar have not spoken in months. It just got to be too hard,” another source told People. “She will always care about him, but she had to finally move on and make herself happy.”
