The Real Housewives of New Jerseystar, who also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice, seems to think the best way to show support for her former boss, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, is to bash the women who have accused him of sexual assault.
For background, Trump was caught on a hot mic in 2005 bragging about being able to sexually assault women because of his fame. Since then, nearly a dozen women have come forward to share the stories of the times Trump assaulted them, but still there are people who don’t believe them. Because rape culture.

Giudice is one of those people.
“If a man touched me, I would come out with it right away. I wouldn’t wait ’til he was trying to be president and then come out with it,” she said in a recent interview with Extra. “When people come out, they only want their 15 minutes of fame.”
How many times are we going to need to go over this, fam? There are myriad reasons that women wait to report sexual assault, and none of them have to do with getting famous.
But I am a woman, so I know some people out there won’t take my word for it. I present a man/former police officer’s thoughts on the subject:
“We know from research and our own experience that sexual assault and rape are the most underreported crimes. And part of the reason they’re underreported is that victims are concerned about whether they’re going to be believed or not. That prevents a lot of folks from coming forward, as well as the trauma of the experience,” Tom Tremblay, who worked for decades as a police officer in Vermont, told Vox. “Victims may wait days, weeks, months, years, decades. When one victim comes forward, it’s not at all uncommon to see other victims come forward, who are thinking, ‘Well, they came forward; now it’s not just my word.’ And then we see the next victim says the same thing.”
