Natalie Portman should be getting a call to play Kim Kardashian West any day now

In the most bizarre case of fantasy casting since Making a Murderer‘s Steven Avery wanted Brad Pitt to play him in a feature film, Kris Jenner reportedly has her eye on some serious A-list actors to portray Kim Kardashian West in the infamous Paris robbery.

Insert sigh, shrug and “too soon!” here.

According to a Radar Online source, Jenner is angling to turn Kardashian West’s night of terror into a business deal, and it’s not going to be a shoestring production.

“She only wants to see A-list actors in starring roles,” the insider said. “Kris is fantasizing about Mila Kunis or Natalie Portman playing Kim.”

And while Kardashian West still hasn’t recovered from the terrifying ordeal that occurred in October, Jenner — ever the shrewd businesswoman — is allegedly hard at work ensuring that the Kardashian empire stays lucrative.

“She’s frantically assembling a movie concept to pitch to the studios,” the source said. “She sees it as a glamorous thriller to rival The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Being that Kardashian West still isn’t comfortable in public and hasn’t even fully returned to social media yet, the possibility of her mother planning to turn the heinous robbery into a money-grab seems a little insensitive. Rumor has it Kardashian West is still so shaken from the event that she is building an extravagant panic room — and she’s not even expected to attend a November gala that is set to honor her late father, Robert Kardashian.

Hardly seems like the time to be prepping for a movie, but even so, it’s possible that Jenner will persevere.

“Kris is a woman who is used to getting her way!” the Radar Online source said.
