If Donald Trump wins the U.S. election, Canada will be gaining these 9 celebs

With the United States presidential election coming up on Nov. 8, all eyes are on the two major candidates running for presidency: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, but in the eyes of many celebrities, there is one clear favourite.

In fact, there are so many celebs who are disenchanted with the thought of Trump becoming the next President that they have threatened to leave the country. While some, like Cher, have not stated the exact location they wish to move (she claimed she would move to Jupiter) other have made it very clear that Canada would be a great option.

So, if Trump wins the election, here are the celebs we’ll be gaining. We’re pretty sure they wouldn’t be the only ones.

1. Bryan Cranston

Cranston is the most recent celeb to make his feelings toward Trump clear, as he revealed during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he would “definitely move [to Canada]. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.” He added, “It wouldn’t be a vacation. I’d be an expatriate.”

2. Lena Dunham

A proud Hillary Clinton supporter, Lena Dunham previously exclaimed during the Matrix Awards in April that she intended to move to Canada if the elections didn’t go in Clinton’s favour. She said. “I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will. I know a lovely place in Vancouver and I can get my work done from there.”

3. Raven-Symoné

Raven-Symoné made her political views clear, stating during an episode of The View that if any Republican became president she’s “gonna move to Canada with my entire family.” She also insisted this was no empty threat, because, “I already have my ticket. I literally bought my ticket. I swear.”

4. Neve Campbell

Neve Campbell previously admitted that she’s terrified of Trump winning the election. She told Huffington Post U.K.: “It’s really scary. My biggest fear is that Trump will triumph,” adding that if he does, she will move “back to Canada” — she is Canadian after all!

5. Chloë Sevigny

Chloë Sevigny knows exactly where she’d move, as she told The Scene earlier this year that she would move to Nova Scotia.

6. Jurnee Smollett-Bell

Jurnee Smollett-Bell echoed those sentiments when interviewed by The Scene, telling the site that she’d be “definitely moving to Canada.” And we’d definitely be glad to have her.

7. Barbra Streisand

Barbra Streisand is still deciding between two countries, as she said on Australia’s 60 Minutes in August that she’d be “either coming to your country [Australia], if you’ll let me in, or Canada.”

8. Keegan-Michael Key

Keegan-Michael Key is no fan of Trump, either, as he told TMZ that he would move to Canada. He would also never write a speech for him, no matter how much money he was offered.

9. Stephen King

Stephen King’s personal horror story would be if Trump became president, as he revealed to Ron Charles, editor of The Washington Post‘s Book World, that “A Trump presidency scares me more than anything else. I’m terrified that he’ll become president.” He also added that his destination of choice would be Canada.

So, how does Trump feel about the backlash he’s receiving from so many celebs? According to him, he doesn’t care: Trump previously told Fox and Friends that knowing so many celebs would leave means he has to be elected, adding, “I’ll be doing a great service to our country. I have to [win]. Now, it’s much more important. In fact, I’ll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now.”
