The rumors were true — Nick Cannon is expecting baby No. 3

Just days after Nick Cannon finally settled his divorce from Mariah Carey, agreeing to joint custody of their 5-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, it was reported that Cannon’s ex-girlfriend is expecting a baby — and that he’s the father.

According to Us Weekly, multiple sources have confirmed that Cannon’s ex, former Miss Arizona Brittany Bell, is about six months along. She and Cannon have dated on and off for about two years, since his split from Carey in 2014.

Well, the reports were true: Cannon is definitely expecting baby No. 3 with Bell. He confirmed it on the Breakfast Club, saying, “I’ve got a baby on the way. God said, be fruitful and multiply. I’m doing the Lord’s work… everybody get a baby! I’m passing them out.”

Cannon and Carey have reportedly remained close despite their divorce, and they’re very successful at sharing parenting duties for their twins. “They are in a great place and a real source of support for one another — plus a prime example of what co-parents should be,” one source told Us Weekly. But will adding another baby to the mix change that?

Meanwhile, Carey had her own big news come hot on the heels of signing her divorce papers with Cannon. Just after finishing up the proceedings, she met up with her billionaire fiancé, James Packer, in Greece, where they reportedly had an explosive fight that ended their engagement. According to a statement from Carey’s camp, however, she and Packer are looking for a way to work it out.

“Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other since. The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah,” the statement says. “James is one of the most successful businessmen in the world. They are trying to work it out. Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it and plan to release an official statement together about their future.”
