Update: Nov. 10 at 5:37 a.m. PT — According to Gente, Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato’s son has been diagnosed with liver cancer and is set to receive four months of chemotherapy. Lopilato’s sister Daniela told the publication: “Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to over come this. We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come, but it’s got to be done.” According to The Mirror, their son has a “90 percent chance” of surviving the disease following treatment.

Singer Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana, have released a statement revealing that their 3-year-old son has cancer.

The statement was released Friday on Bublé’s Facebook page, which has nearly 8 million followers.
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah, who is currently undergoing treatment in the U.S.,” the statement says. “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”
It continued, “At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Perez Hilton sparked rumors about Noah’s diagnosis on Thursday, when he wrote on his blog that the toddler was fighting cancer.
“While doctors first thought he had mumps, officials later determined it was cancer,” Hilton wrote. “As of now, it is unclear what kind of cancer it is.”
Fans have been flooding Bublé’s Facebook page with support since Hilton’s article was published.
“My love is send out to you and your family Michael. I can’t imagine the pain you and your wife must be going through. I have a 3 year old boy too ! stay strong and you will pull through Noah! Another wrote simply, “Wishing you strength and good luck,” followed by a heart emoji.
